Doug Brown began playing golf as a child the way many kids do - at the hand of his father and grandfather. But it wasn't until he worked at Cross Creek Plantation, just minutes away from Clemson University where he attended college, where he truly fell in love with the game. Experiencing incredible things in the game such as working a summer internship as TPC Sawgrass fed his passion. And making golf pilgrimages to Ireland, Pinehurst, and Pebble Beach with his father and brother only deepened his love of the game.

 

Doug has been working with George Bryan since 2013 and has helped to significantly grow and develop the Team Series program. Doug enjoys coming up with creating new content, program ideas, and regular communication with members and golf course partners

Doug is a member of the Greenville Golfing Society, has been a volunteer for the South Carolina Junior Golf Association for over 10 years, and now also oversees the SCJGA Chapter in Greenville, SC. But his greatest joy in golf has quickly become spending time on the course with his daughters. Doug lives in the Greenville area of the upstate SC with his wife Beth, daughters Ally and Molly and their two dogs Chloe and Sophie.
